BMF Cultural Trendbook 2026
A global trend forecast from BMF and its editorial platform, The Pulse, made as a physical newspaper for slower, more intentional reading. Its central idea is Renewal: a cultural reset shaped by the desire for calmer, more grounded and more human experiences.

The Publication
A Tangible Forecast
Born from BMF's trend-report work and developed through The Pulse, the Trendbook synthesizes emerging patterns across style and identity, design and material, pop culture, wellbeing, technology, society and the economy. The newspaper format was intentional: culture presented as something to hold, read slowly and discuss rather than another screen-based report.
The Forecast
From Macro Forces to Brand Direction
The report identifies seven forces shaping 2026: Emotional Reset, Material Honesty, The New Sacred, Slow Individualism, Local Worlds, Purposeful Escape and Post-Algorithm Aesthetics. It then translates those shifts into implications for automotive, beauty and lifestyle, travel and hospitality, finance and technology, consumer goods, entertainment, and wine and spirits.
Its closing direction asks brands to protect attention, support human creativity, elevate ritual, create symbolic value and design products, spaces and stories with greater longevity and emotional truth.
